Matthew Fitzner

Matthew Fitzner is a Director Healthcare Management, supporting six Medicaid markets. Matt joined Elevance Health in 2013. He attended Bellarmine University in Louisville KY where he completed his BSN. Matt worked in ICU and TCU at the bedside before transitioning to Managed Care in 2008. When not working he enjoys spending time with his family, and spending time in nature hiking, camping or gardening.

Chris Tjoa

Chris Tjoa is Manager Medical Director for the Government Business Division Behavioral Health Grievances and Appeals, he has been with Elevance Health since 2021. He completed Medical School at SUNY Buffalo and residency in Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania. His clinical experiences have included assertive community treatment for individuals with severe mental illness and psychiatric consultation within the Department of Gastroenterology at the University of Pennsylvania. His clinical interests include anxiety disorders and their impact on physical health symptoms and conditions.

Kenneth Edwards

As a clinical therapist with a breadth of knowledge that spans clinical psychology, financial/banking industry combined with a strong management and training background, Kenneth Edwards has been able to bring together these realms to provide a unique perspective as a clinician and future consulting psychologist. As a practicing therapist, Kenneth actively persues a PhD in Business Psychology to establish himself as a well rounded professional in the fields of both business and psychology.

Dr. Carla Smith serves as Chief Clinical Officer at Motivo, where she is dedicated to supporting and advocating for providers throughout their journey in the behavioral health industry. A licensed therapist (LCSW & LMFT), Dr. Carla emphasizes cultural humility and inclusive leadership that prioritizes the well-being of mental health clinicians.
