Community for Clinical Supervisors & Supervisees

Hi, friends!
Lately, the Motivo team has been discussing ways that we can increase authentic connection – both within our team, as well as within the larger Motivo community (i.e. all of you).
We’ve decided to launch an online Motivo Community – a place where we can connect with one another, share stories, ask questions, post pictures of our dogs, etc. Some of you might recognize the platform we’ll be using, as it’s the place where we list our peer groups. A few of you have even already created a profile.
For those of you who haven’t – we invite you to come on over, take a look around, and consider introducing yourself to the group.
Here’s a few answers to some questions you may have about the community.
What is the purpose of the Motivo Community?
Similar to a closed Facebook group, the Motivo Community is a place to chat, connect, ask questions, and share resources with other clinicians. We’ll also host some live events to gather together and chat.
Is it free?
Yep. Totally free.
What can I expect to find in the Motivo Community?
In the community, you can find all of our free Peer Groups, and recordings of our past Panel Discussions. You can join a conversation that already taking place, or post a new topic or question for others to weigh in on.
Can I post about my own events in the Motivo Community?
Sure thing! Our one rule about self-promotion is that all events must be free and open to all. Our community isn’t a place for selling – it’s a place for connection.
Full disclosure – I’m not quite sure how this community-thing will go. In the past, I’ve always thought we would need to build a community through a closed Facebook group, since so many therapists frequent social media each day.
However, I’m not a huge fan of Facebook from an ethical perspective, so we decided to explore other options.
We are gonna give it a go building our community right here on a community platform called Mighty Networks. We’ll test, experiment, and see how it goes!
